This is your strongest page, great image, good pull quotes and house style continued, what I would do is the text by Sam, this feels like it is just chucked in there. I would put the pull quote 'I no longer need to impress... there,. make your first column narrow and move it across so your gutters are closer, this will allow you space to put the side bar to the left of the page and take up some of that white space, see me if that is confusing.
